Toronto, Mar 4, 2011 (ABN Newswire) - Transition Metals Corp (CVE:XTM) will be Exhibiting at the 2011 PDAC International Convention, Trade Show & Investors Exchange in Toronto. The company will be displaying drill core from its new discovery on its Haultain Gold Property located near Gowganda, Ontario as well as participating in the Investor's Exchange Forum. The company would like to invite convention attendees to visit its Core Shack display at Booth #5009A on March 6 & 7 and its Investor's Exchange Booth #2406B on March 8 & 9.
During the summer and fall of 2010, the Company completed trenching, mapping and channel sampling activities on the Haultain Gold Property. This work resulted in the identification of the Annie's Ladder Showing, an approximately 100 metre by 60 metre stripped exposure hosting gold bearing quartz carbonate veining. In February the company reported results from two preliminary holes completed to further evaluate the occurrence. Highlights include results from hole TMH-10-02 which yielded a length weighted composite gold average of 1.57 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 11.69 metres between 40.31 to 52.00 metres down the hole including 4.72 g/t gold over 3.07 metres from 40.31 to 43.38 metres. Exploration Plans
The Company plans to complete additional exploration on the property in 2011 to define the extent and grade of the discovery and to explore for additional deposits on the property. The work will include soil sampling and surface IP (Induced Polarization) surveys over the coming weeks, and additional trenching, mapping and drilling during the summer of 2011.
